Pathnovo Solutions Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, having its registered office at Unit 101, Oxford Towers, 139, HAL Old Airport Road, Kodihalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560008 (collectively referred to as “us”, “we”, or “Pathnovo”), operates an AI-powered document intelligence platform that enables engineering consulting firms, EPC contractors, plant operators, and related industry participants to automate the reading, extraction, and structuring of engineering documents, including Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), isometrics, datasheets, and related engineering deliverables (“Platform”). We provide our services (“Services”), inter alia, through our website at pathnovo.com (the “Website”). Pathnovo processes and handles personal data in connection with the Platform in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDPA”), the Information Technology Act, 2000 (“IT Act”), the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (“IT Rules”), and all other applicable laws in the jurisdictions in which Pathnovo operates (collectively, “Applicable Privacy Law”).
This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information about the representatives, employees, and agents of our clients (“Client Personnel”), visitors to the Website, prospective clients, and any other individuals whose personal data we process in connection with the Services (collectively referred to as “you” or “Users”). This Privacy Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions (“Terms”), which are available on the Website and incorporated herein by reference.
Pathnovo’s Platform is designed exclusively for professional and business use by engineering consulting firms, EPC contractors, plant operators, asset owners, and related industry participants. We do not provide engineering advice, issue engineering certifications, or make design approvals through the Platform. Output generated by the Platform is AI-generated and must be verified by qualified engineers before use in any engineering, procurement, safety, or commercial context.
IF YOU USE THE SERVICES ON BEHALF OF AN ORGANISATION (SUCH AS YOUR EMPLOYER OR CLIENT FIRM), YOU REPRESENT THAT YOU ARE AUTHORISED BY THAT ORGANISATION TO (I) ACCEPT THIS PRIVACY POLICY ON THAT ORGANISATION’S BEHALF, AND (II) CONSENT ON BEHALF OF THAT ORGANISATION AND ITS PERSONNEL TO OUR COLLECTION, USE, AND DISCLOSURE OF THEIR INFORMATION AS DESCRIBED IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY.
This Privacy Policy applies to: (a) all personal data collected through the Website, including contact and enquiry forms, newsletter subscriptions, and demo booking requests; (b) personal data of Client Personnel collected in connection with the onboarding, engagement, and management of client relationships; and (c) personal data that may be incidentally contained in engineering documents (Client Data) submitted by clients for processing on the Platform.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to personal data processed by Pathnovo in its capacity as a data processor on behalf of a client. Where Pathnovo acts as a data processor, processing is governed by the applicable statement of work and, where relevant, a separate data processing agreement between Pathnovo and the client.

Pathnovo uses proprietary AI models trained on real P&IDs, isometrics, and vendor datasheets to process engineering documents submitted by clients (“Client Data”). The following applies to all AI-powered processing on the Platform:
Certain engineering documents submitted to the Platform may incidentally contain personal data of individuals, such as engineer names, signatures, or employee designations on drawings or in document control logs. The client is responsible for ensuring that it has a lawful basis under Applicable Privacy Law for submitting such personal data to Pathnovo. Pathnovo shall process such personal data only for the purpose of delivering the Services and shall not use it for any other purpose.

Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, we will securely delete or anonymise personal data in accordance with our data retention and deletion procedures.
Pathnovo supports multiple data residency configurations. The applicable data residency configuration for each client engagement (India, GCC, or such other location as agreed) is specified in the relevant statement of work.
Where personal data is transferred outside India, we will ensure such transfers comply with Applicable Privacy Law, including the cross-border transfer provisions of the DPDPA. Where we rely on contractual safeguards, we will ensure the recipient is bound by equivalent data protection obligations.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction. As an ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001:2022, ISO 27017, and ISO 27701 certified organisation, we maintain information security and privacy management practices aligned with internationally recognised standards.

We will respond to verified rights requests within the timeframes prescribed under Applicable Privacy Law. We may verify your identity before processing a request. We will acknowledge and respond to your grievance within the timelines prescribed under applicable law.
