Different functional layers: Rhyton handles document workflow + audit trail + version control + transmittals; Pathnovo handles document content extraction + structured data + downstream AIM / EAM feed. Limited. Rhyton's AI capabilities focus on document workflow intelligence: semantic version comparison (which sections changed between revisions), comment detection (where reviewers flagged issues), document indexing (full-text search). It does not perform engineering-domain extraction: no P&ID symbol recognition, no isometric topology, no HAZOP register extraction, no mill certificate traceability with EPC PO matching, no instrument index automation. For these workflows, Pathnovo provides the upstream extraction layer; Rhyton routes the resulting structured data through its EDMS workflow.

Documents arrive in Rhyton via standard transmittal workflow. Rhyton webhook fires when document is checked in. Pathnovo's API ingests the document, extracts structured engineering content (tags, lines, instruments, equipment, weld joints, mill cert heat numbers, HAZOP nodes), validates against project standards, and writes back enriched metadata to Rhyton's document properties. Structured data simultaneously feeds downstream AIM / EAM / SAP / Maximo / Cognite platforms. Rhyton's EDMS workflow, security, audit trail, and user interface are untouched; Pathnovo runs as the upstream intelligence layer behind the API.

Rhyton's customer base includes ADNOC ecosystem operators, Petronas, TotalEnergies, Samsung Engineering, Chiyoda. For these customers, Pathnovo can be deployed as the upstream extraction layer feeding Rhyton's EDMS with structured engineering data + Indian / Gulf regulatory overlay. Aramco ecosystem customers (typically using Hexagon SDx2 + SmartPlant Foundation), ENOC / Dubai customers, Indian PSU customers (typically using Wrench SmartProject), and Cognite-committed customers (Aker BP, Equinor, BP) have alternative EDMS / DataOps platform pairings; Pathnovo's pre-certified integrations cover all of them.
